Centre for Islamic Banking, Finance And Management (CIBFM), yesterday, 8 November 2016, officiated the Senior Executives Advanced Leadership (SEAL) Programme, an inaugural leadership programme exclusive for Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) at its training centre, ILIA Building UBD Campus, Jalan Tungku-Link.
Present to officiate the programme was the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Awang Yusof bin Haji Abd Rahman, Managing Director of AMBD, who also delivered the Welcoming Remarks.
SEAL is a learning series of 5 modules that has a strong focus on leadership topics such as leading change, visionary leadership, adopting and adapting to entrepreneurial and innovative approaches, and transformational leadership. The whole programme will be conducted over a period of time and is expected to be completed in 2017.
The SEAL programme will incorporate assessments of the participants’ leadership styles and coaching, with particular emphasis on a hands-on approach, through simulations and case studies. The programme will be conducted by a coaching expert, Dr. Glenn Nosworthy of Strategic Concepts International, Singapore, while the Harvard Simulation and learning through case studies that will be presented by Professor Tan Hwee Hoon from Singapore Management University. The first group to attend the programme was 15 senior officers from AMBD.
CIBFM is the training arm of AMBD. CIBFM has been recognised by Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council (BDNAC) as a Training Institution providing Value-Added Qualifications in terms of professional learning solutions in the fields of Banking, Finance, Management and Leadership.
