Brunei Institute for Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF), recently, organised a half-day
roadshow for officials at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) at Melor Hall, MoRA.
The roadshow began with an introduction to BILIF followed by a talk on the “Islamic Financial
Planning (IFP) 101: Managing Your Finance with Islamic Practices” programme, facilitated by
Yang Mulia Awang Haji Shamsul bin Haji Muhammad, General Manager of Insurans Islam TAIB
Family Takaful Sendirian Berhad.
The talk included a preview for BILIF’s IFP 101 Programme which, amongst others, highlighted
Introduction to Islamic Financial Planning, Cash and Debt Management, Zakat Planning as well as
This roadshow is part of a series of roadshows that will run from April to September this year to
promote awareness on BILIF’s recent rebranding, and programmes and events conducted by
BILIF. These programmes and events aim to enhance and promote human capacity development
in the financial industry, as well as other private and public sectors.
