Brunei Institute of Leadership & Islamic Finance (BILIF), in collaboration with Projek Bina Ukhwah (PBU), recently donated more than 10,000 reusable and disposable face mask during this COVID-19 pandemic. The donation handover took place at BILIF, Institute of Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA) Building, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, on 25 November 2021.
Representing BILIF to handover the donation was Yang Mulia Hajah Sufinah Binti Haji Sahat, Assistant Managing Director (Corporate Development), Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) as Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BILIF. Receiving the donation on behalf of PBU are Mohammad Riwandy bin Ramli, Project Manager and Siti Jalwatul Munawwarah bte Mohd Norsham, Assistant Project Manager, PBU. This donation will be distributed by PBU to deployment and emergency teams, designated centres such as hotline, quarantine and vaccination centres as well as migrant workers.
This donation is an initiative under BILIF’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in helping and giving back to the community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei Darussalam. It is also acts as a form of appreciation to frontliners, volunteers and migrant workers for their commitment during these difficult times.
