Brunei Institute of Leadership & Islamic Finance (BILIF) recently held a Doa Kesyukuran and Sunat Hajat prayer event at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Mosque in conjunction with its 15 Year Anniversary on Thursday, 24 Rejab 1446 | 24 January 2025.
The event began with Solat Sunat Hajat, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaa Siin and a congregational Doa Kesyukuran, followed by Solat Fardhu Asar, and concluded with a donation from BILIF to the mosque.
The donation, which included a portable air cooler, a vacuum cleaner, and a water jet, was donated by BILIF’s staff members to support the mosque’s management and maintenance needs. This contribution reflects BILIF’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ensuring the upkeep of a comfortable and well-maintained prayer space.
The handing over of the donations was led by Awang Afero Eswandy Mohamad, Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BILIF. Receiving the donation on behalf of Masjid UBD was Pengiran Muhd Nasiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Imam Masjid Universiti, UBD.
