The Brunei Institute of Leadership & Islamic Finance (BILIF) held a one-day Masterclass on 17 June 2025 at The Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. Organised as an exclusive extension to the Corporate Governance Forum, the Masterclass was designed to equip board directors and senior officers with advanced knowledge and practical insights in the areas of corporate governance, strategic finance, and leadership excellence.
The Masterclass featured three parallel sessions which are the corporate governance session titled “Regulatory Compliance and Ethical Leadership” led by Professor Mak Yuen Teen, Professor, National University of Singapore; the strategic leadership session titled “Decision Making: Leadership in the Boardroom” led by Chris Bennett, Adjunct Faculty at the ICLIF Executive Education Centre, Asia School of Business Malaysia, and the finance session titled “Strategic Finance Across Economic Cycles: Thriving in Growth and Navigating Crisis” led by Aida Mosira Moktar, Independent Non-Executive Director at Touch ‘n Go, Malaysia.
