Hands On Workshop (HOW): Building Interactive Dashboards with MS Excel (Advanced)

Programme Overview

A 3-day programme that introduces participants to more Excel functions for use in their Dashboards. This programme requires participants to continue generating summarised data from their Dashboards and introduces a technique to display a lot of data for use in Dashboards. This programme culminates in a role-play exercise where participants take on the role of describing a Dashboard for others to build.

Prerequisite

Attended BILIF’s Hands On Workshop (HOW): Building Interactive Dashboards with MS Excel Beginners and Intermediate.

Objectives

• Techniques for displaying large data sets in limited space: Learn methods to effectively visualise extensive data within constrained areas using Excel.
• Advanced Excel functions for Dashboard data generation: Explore additional Excel functions that facilitate the creation and manipulation of data for dynamic dashboards.
• Excel Data cleaning features for Dashboard preparation: Understand and apply Excel features designed to clean and prepare data for seamless integration into dashboards.

Suited for any personnel that uses Microsoft Excel to analyse and prepare management reports, especially administrative, operational and middle management staff.
