THE EXPERT

Ms Wong Sheau Yann, delivers in-house and public training, and certification programmes in the Myers-Briggs Types Indicator (MBTI), FIRO, Strong Interest Inventory, Work Engagement Profile, TKI Conflict Mode Instrument and Parker team Player. She also provides HR consulting and facilitates leadership & team development programme. Sheau Yann graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering. Her desire to work with people and her ability to relate to others led her to embark on a career in Human Resources upon graduates. She started her career in the HR Training & Development Team with TECH Semiconductor – one of the largest volatile DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) manufacturers in Singapore. Subsequently she expanded her portfolio into the field of Leadership Development, Performance Management, Organization Effectiveness and Change Management in Micron, one of the world’s leading semiconductor companies. She then joined REC, a leading global provider of solar electricity solutions, leading the OE and OD roles.

Sheau Yann designed, developed and delivered training workshops extensively and she has an authentic style of communication that engages participants. Sheau Yann’s forte is the area of culture building for teams & organizations and leadership development. She successfully led and supported many initiatives in Micron and REC. She played a pivotal role to strengthen team dynamics and effectiveness within the organization through coaching and consulting. In the arena of Performance Management, Sheau Yann successfully led the implementation of Performance Management systems in Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan and Korea), worked with business leaders to develop & deploy business targets and strategically engages employees to create a high performing organization. Sheau Yann enjoys travelling and sports. She used to play competitive touch rugby, soccer and hockey during her schooldays.
