Overview

This 2-day programme teaches participants to start building Dashboards straight away. Participants do not need previous experience building Dashboards but are expected to have some Excel knowledge

Objectives

  • Introduction to Dashboard Creation in Excel:
    Equip participants with the skills to build dashboards from scratch.
  • Essential Excel Features for Dashboard Development:
    Guide participants through the Key Excel functionalities necessary for creating effective dashboards.
  • Layout and Color Theory for Dashboard Design:
    Equip participants with the skills on the principles of layout and color theory to enhance the structure and visual appeal of their dashboards.

Who Should Attend

Suited for any personnel that uses Microsoft Excel to analyse and prepare management reports, especially administrative, operational and middle management staff.

Learning Outcomes

  • Create interactive dashboards using data from tables.
  • Develop interactive dashboards utilising data from PivotTables.
  • Incorporate interactivity through Slicers to dynamically update dashboard data.
  • Manage the position and size of dashboard elements to indicate relationships and highlight importance.
  • Choose a consistent color palette for the dashboard.
