LIFE: Data Analytics
Programme Overview
The programme is created to provide participants with an opportunity to further enhance their understanding in the module of Data Analytics.
The 2-day programme will introduce students to the foundations of data analytics. The students will be able to learn types of data, apply descriptive statistics, understand the concepts of probability and probability distributions, sampling distribution and central limit theorem and apply hypothesis testing in real life examples.
Programme Objectives
The objectives of this module are:
- Describe data and data generation process and their basic statistics
- Undertake hypothesis testing to infer characteristics of populations under study and relations between two or more variables
- Implement steps in data analysis from statements of hypotheses to inferences and implications using regression models
- Interpret descriptive and inferential statistics generated from the applications of data modelling techniques
Who Should Attend
Open to any Individuals who wish to enhance their understanding on Data Analytics.
