Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving

OVERVIEW

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is a 2-day programme that focuses on quality management process through which organisations investigate the underlying cause of a problem, issue, or incident after it has occurred. In any organisation, issues and problems are inevitable – even in the best of circumstances. While it may be tempting to address only the symptoms as they arise, doing so is inherently reactive and often leads to recurring and worsening problems.

OBJECTIVES

  • Assist organisations in identifying the true root cause of a problem.
  • Take appropriate corrective actions and develop preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
  • Implement solutions that address the underlying issue, leading to more efficient overall operations.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Professionals across all levels—from frontline supervisors to top management—who are responsible for quality, operations, process improvement, project management, and maintaining organisational performance. This includes roles like engineers, quality specialists, production managers, logistics personnel, and continuous improvement teams, as well as anyone seeking to prevent recurring issues and improve efficiency.
