- Islamic Finance
One of the goals in Wawasan 2035 and Financial Sector Blueprint (FSBP) 2016-2025 is to develop Brunei into an International Islamic Finance Hub. To contribute to this goal, BILIF is offering both introductory and specialised programmes in the fields of Islamic Finance to develop more local experts and scholars in the sultanate.

Management and Leadership are vital abilities for every professional who wants to navigate and succeed in the challenges of the corporate world.
BILIF offers a variety of programmes on management and leadership such as Project Management, Business Writing Skills, Getting Things Done® and many more.
All Financial Planners, as well as Insurance and Takaful Agents in Brunei Darussalam, are required to be licensed before they are allowed to practice ensuring a standard of professionalism and expertise in Brunei Darussalam.
As the official licensing examination centre appointed by Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), BILIF offers the licensing programmes namely Financial Practitioners’ Planning Programme (FPPP) and the Qualifying Examination for Insurance/Takaful agents (QEFITA).
To increase the standards and expertise of the Brunei Darussalam’s financial industry in the field of Islamic Finance, BILIF designs and offers signature programmes with contents and modules focused on practicality and application as its core function and objectives. Upon completion, participants will be industry ready to fill skills gaps in the industry.
BILIF currently offers two signature programmes, the Fiqh Mu’amalat Professional Programme (FMPP) and the Leadership in Islamic Finance and Economics (LIFE).

BILIF offers a variety of soft skills programmes including problem-solving, conflict management and customer service among others.
Our technical based programmes aim to equip practitioners with the technical knowledge needed in today’s ever-changing working environment. These programmes range from skills applicable in general situations such as Advanced MS Excel or more role and industry-specific settings such as handling Corporate Governance.
