Building Interactive Dashboard With MS Excel (Advanced)

Programme Overview

An Excel Dashboard serves as a dedicated platform enabling managers and business leaders to monitor essential Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and make informed decisions. This page incorporates diagrams, tables, and views, all backed by factual data. It’s worth noting, however, that not all reports can be classified as dashboards. Dashboard reports furnish administrators with a high-level summary of their company’s performance.

Excel, renowned for its capabilities, stands out as an excellent tool for crafting robust dashboards, empowering managers to assess, scrutinise, and receive real-time updates.

Our MS Excel Dashboard Advanced level course focuses on creating dynamic reports, charts, and enhancing data interaction. The dashboards we construct are designed to be flexible and user-friendly, adapting to changes as needed. While the accuracy of the data and reports is paramount, we also emphasize the aesthetics of the dashboard. A well designed and visually appealing dashboard can enhance the overall user experience and comprehension of the data presented.

Objectives

  • Utilise Power Query to efficiently restructure and format data into a tabular layout.
  • Enhance the comprehensiveness of your Dashboard by employing Excel’s analytic tools, such as PivotTables, to dynamically adapt charts based on specific report requirements.
  • Create an interactive Dashboard by leveraging Macros and Slicers to engage your data and provide a user-friendly experience.
